- Carly Fiorina claims her B.A. in Medieval History makes her uniquely qualified to combat ISIS (Link). Gets ridiculed.

- Lindsay Graham asks for hurricane relief aid for South Carolina, despite voting against aid for NJ after hurricane Sandy... the choice quote:
Washington (CNN)Sen. Lindsey Graham is asking for federal aid for his home state of South Carolina as it battles raging floods, but he voted to oppose similar help for New Jersey in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy in 2013.

"Let's just get through this thing, and whatever it costs, it costs," Graham told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on "The Situation Room" on Monday of the devastating floods in his home state.

Graham was among the Republican senators who opposed a federal aid package in January 2013 to assist states hit by Hurricane Sandy, but now he doesn't remember why.

"I'm all for helping the people in New Jersey. I don't really remember me voting that way," Graham said.
- Bobby Jindal, who is still in the race for some unforeseeable reason, demands the father of the Oregon classroom shooter apologize, and calls him a failure. Well, yeah, but jesus, leave the poor guy alone.

- And regarding the same incident, Dr. Ben Carson claims he wouldn't have been killed if he had been there because he would've gone all Rambo and taken charge:
WASHINGTON -- GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson implied Tuesday that the Oregon shooting victims didn't do enough to save themselves, and that if he himself had been there, he would have been more aggressive in confronting the attacker.

"I would not just stand there and let him shoot me," Carson said on "Fox & Friends," as seen in the clip above. "I would say, 'Hey, guys, everybody attack him. He may shoot me, but he can?t get us all.'"
Is politicizing a shooting incident in this way okay? I thought it was wrong to politicize a mass shooting. Maybe only if you're doing it to call for gun control. otherwise, politicize away.

amazingly, Trump hasn't said anything stupid enough to get in the news lately.

also, if some old Racist Republitard comes up to you, and under the guise of "talking politics" laments how "a Republitard can't win elections anymore" because "the country has changed" you can say to them, "No, it's not because blacks can vote, asshole, but because your candidates are fucking stupid."
