A coworker from Wisconsin sent this to me.

Opponent..............MSU Penalties.... MSU Penalty Yards
Youngstown State......8....................... 55
Florida Atlantic............3....................... 20
Notre Dame..............12....................... 86
Central Michigan.........3....................... 26
OSU............................6....................... 54
Mich..........................13....................... 124
Wisco.........................0....................... 0

I can't believe that shit. That's some absurd home cooking there. No way the Big Ten could've been happy with MSU after the way they were forced to suspend Gholston, esp in light of Mark "Thug Life" Dantonio and Pat "We should get called for a personal foul every play" Narducci's comments.

wow that is some crappy spacing. oh well, you get the idea.

As a lot of your U of M buddies like to point out to Spartan fans......why are you so worried about MSU??? Don't you have a game of your own this week to worry about??

You just sound like a bitter ex girlfriend now Sally. Get over it.

They're obsessed now. It's a new MSU thread everyday on the U of M board.

WELL, now I wouldn't say "worried" about MSU. I mean, I'm a reasonable person, and as such, I understand we won't be playing them again, so I have no reason to worry.

I was surprised by the glaring statistical anomaly there, and thought I'd point it out to my fellow Wolverines.

to go from an avg. of 6.42 penalties/game to zero is surprising.

I am obsessed with MSU. I admit it. I am obsessed with MSU in the same way that MSU fans who count the number of days since Michigan last beat their team, or respond to a question of where they went to college with a long-winded explanation of why they didn't attend Michigan, are obsessed with us.

This is the 8th MSU thread started on page 1 of the U of M board alone. That coupled with about the same number of threads U of M fans have started on the MSU board's 1st page means obsession. Don't you guys play Purdue on Saturday?

It's called Roid Rage.

Dantonio had his boys on the juice in Columbus and does again in lansing. I heard the Gholston boys have a solid connection.

I see 4 or 5 about msu.

The others are just about the wisky vs msu game. Which I've said there's always threads about the more important big 10 games of the week.

And you compared a purdue game (which we do have threads about) to the game agaisnt wisconsin. Do you read what you type? Lol

Who is more obsessed, the michigan fan that occasionally talks about MSU or the MSU fan that scans the Michigan board hourly, patrolling just to see if someone has disrespected his alma mater!!?!!

That is interesting, arguer02. At the game, I didn't really see anything that was penalty-worthy except for one hit out of bounds by an MSU player that went uncalled. There was a pretty obvious hold by Wisconsin on the play that was ignored, also. The fans around me all called out, "Holding!!!" loudly, then we all winced as the hit was delivered out of bounds. No flags were thrown and if they had thrown both, they would've been offsetting anyway.
