This doesn't affect our existing non-conf schedule. So here's the full 2024 schedule as of now:
8/31 - Fresno St.
9/7 - Texas
9/14 - Ark. St.
9/21 - USC
9/28 - Minnesota
10/5 - @Washington
10/12 - BYE
10/19 - @Illinois
10/26 - Michigan St.
11/2 - Oregon
11/9 - @Indiana
11/16 - BYE
11/23 - Northwestern
11/30 - @Ohio St.
You could circle a lot of games in that list. We owe Oregon, USC, and UT all some payback... and haven't gotten to play any of them in a long time.
I'd love it if UO was undefeated coming into that game, but they have a road game at UCLA and a home game vs. OSU before they play us. They have four OOC games before that, none of them look to be too tough for them.
While the conference expansion does take a HUGE dump on the notion of tradition, and to add another metaphor, might be the final nail in "tradition's" coffin... it is pretty amazing as a college football fan to see all these marquee games during the regular season. Like a candy store exploding and giving you everything you wanted in one season.
the 2025 schedule hasn't been released yet, but we're scheduled to play @Oklahoma in Week 2.
