Mixed day for MSU, Lippett has looked good catching the ball, but only ran a 4.62. Mumphrey ran a 4.54.

Jeremy Langford blazed a 4.43 forty and so far is by far the fastest RB at the combine. Really helped himself.

If I would have told you that Langford was 2/10 faster than Amir Abdullah would you have believed me?

Yes, it was known that he was the fastest back in the Big Ten. He was clocked at 4.3 a couple years ago by the coaches.

Apparently he was running 4.38s electronically times in practice this week. Really helped his stock especially giving no other back ran sub 4.48, someone is going to want a back with speed and Langford is the fastest one in this draft. Think he moved up a couple rounds just with that time.

Gordon is the top back. Gurley is the 2nd back off the board despite his injury. After that who knows, you would think Abdullah is 3rd, but Karlos Williams ran better and is a lot bigger. Langford threw himself into that mix, getting some rave reviews in the other drills too. Being compared to DeMarco Murray.

I would like to see Langford and Waynes on the Lions. I think Langford will have a really solid NFL career.

@ColFootballNews: If you didn't know the names, Jeremy Langford is having the best #NFLCombine workout of the RBs. His feet, hips and speed are fantastic.

Langford had the best combine he could have had. Happy for him, can still remember people questioning Dantonio for moving a DB to RB. They called it a 4.42 officially.
