Browns' Baker Mayfield, Rams' Clay Matthews among those fined for criticizing officiating

The NFL has dished out fines to multiple players who criticized the officiating in last weekend's slate of games.

Among those fined were Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield, Los Angeles Rams linebacker Clay Matthews and Detroit Lions safety Tracy Walker, who each were docked $12,500.

Mayfield was fined for comments he made about officiating after a 32-28 loss to the Seahawks last Sunday. He was asked about a blindside blocking penalty called on Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry.

Refs aren't held accountable for their game altering officiating but you can bet we're going to hold to players accountable for speaking their mind about said officiating.
