No PUP for Leshoure

Lions RB Mikel Leshoure (Achilles) will not begin training camp on the active/PUP list.
Leshoure wasn't sure himself if he would gain clearance, so this is a positive sign. Coach Jim Schwartz suggested earlier in the day Leshoure has yet to recapture pre-injury form.

If he does anything this season I'd be surprised.

Wouldn't putting him on the pup push his suspension back further? If thats the case this was the only reasonable choice. Apparently marijuana help heel achilles injuries...smoke em if you got em crack head!

I assume he could be put on the pre-season PuP. Meaning no practice etc. But he can be taken off any time but once he practices the pre-season pup is no longer an option.

More good news Broyles just said he crushed his conditioning test. Lets hope he can participate in camp and contribute early in the season.

I wouldnt be shocked if thats what we end up doing
