Notable Former Wolverine Roster Cuts

Ian Bunting(Bears), Joe Kerridge(Browns), Karan Higdon(Texans), Eric Magnuson(Bills), Tyree Kinnel(Bengals), Dymonte Thomas(Broncos), Willie Henry(Ravens), Juwan Bushel-Beatty(Cowboys), Jehu Chessson(Redskins), Jake Rudock(Dolphins), Thomas Rawls(Jaguars), Ben Braden(Jets)

Hopefully everyone ends end up with another team or the practice squad. I have no idea how Rudock got cut. I thought it was pretty obvious he was the clear No. 2. The NFL is strange. Lots of Buckeyes cut over the last couple days.

I may have missed some names on this list.

He was drafted by the Lions who had no clear cut number 2 in forever. That should say something.

Dymonte Thomas was on the bubble here and played well in the pre-season ...hope he catches on.

Higdon might have been safe had they not traded for Hyde late.

I think Bill O'Brien had his own ideas of what he wanted the roster to look like, and it's all about winning now, not waiting for rookies to develop.

once he got GM power, he took an axe to his roster

A lot of these guys will be on practice squads, others we'll probably never here from again as far as football is concerned.

I thought Jake Rudock had planned to go to medical school. Guess that was just hype.

if his brain still works okay, he probably still can. and he won't have to take on $200,000 of student loans to do it, at least.

Browns used waived/injured for Kyle Kalis and Kerridge have concussion

Both reverted to injured reserve

I hope they both get back

Like Bo said: Once you leave college football, you never play for a team again.

That would be great for an undrafted free agent rookie

Pierre woods was like that and ended up playing for patriots for 4 years

He said you play for a contract, and you play for this and that.

he should?ve just left it at ?contract? though, IMO.

more concise, more emphasis on the mercenary nature of pro football.
