numbers on the helmet

nope, I loved them. I think they should keep it. Although I will say I really had to dip into my memory banks to try and remember all the players' #'s without the names on the jersey.

I know, too early in the season to be testing us like that. That, along with the tiny numbers on the front of the jersey made for a difficult night of identifying players.

I liked them too. Wouldn't want them all the tine though, our helmets are perfect. And it reminds me too much of alabama

I liked it thought it was pretty cool. Denard's number was falling off his helmet early.

I liked the entire retro-uniform and think we should wear them more often.

I liked them for the most part .... the numbers on the helmet were pretty cool but the jersey, to me, should be put back in the closet until the next special game.

And FWIW .... what is ND now in their alternate/throwback jerseys?? Have they won yet when doing the gimmicky thing?

Was I in an alternate universe or did J. T. Floyd used to be #15? He was #8 Saturday.

He was #12 and switched to #8 a couple weeks before the season started... I think. It confused the hell out of me too because Blake Countess was #8 when he first arrived.

Sorry, still not a big fan of those uni's. I much prefer the cleaner look of the helmet without the numbers. That said, if they are going to use numbers on the helmet I think they should be in the same "highlighter" yellow as the rest of the helmet as opposed to the Maize color. Either that or revert back to having the uni's all in Maize. The two-tone yellow bugs me. I actually prefer the Maize as that is their true color, but the highlighter does provide better contrast so either way is fine, just be consistent.

I do concur the names not on the jerseys made it difficult, but I wasn't a fan of thosee jersey's in any fashion.

agree zyxt about the jersey comments - not having names drove me nuts and no numbers on the front

had hard time keeping track of who was who
