Obama eats dog

wait, didn't Romney tie his dog to the roof of his car in December, and drive from Massachusetts to Vermont, or something like that?

The Obama haters of the world are really clutching at straws now.

Forget that he was living in Indonesia where it's common to eat dog.

Forget that Canadians like to eat Horse.

If Obama ate a Pork Chop would that convince the right-wing nutcases who insist he is a Muslim he's not?

Come election time this bullshit is all the right will have to go on, because they can't attack Obama healthcare plan without exposing Romney.

That's exactly why the talking heads are trying to make a big deal out of this.

It might be more common in Quebec, but I know for a fact they sell horse meat in Ontario as well, I have seen it in Toronto.

The point is what difference does it make, Animals = Food.

Eat em all, who cares.

you understand Obama is NOT a Dictator , right ? It was a BiPartisan Bill with house support on both sides of the aisle that pushed the Bill through.

and what the Bill does is opens Federal funding back-up so that Slaughter plants that do kill horses can be Federally Inspected for cleanliness and humane treatment issues.

the Bill was actually backed by PETA also.

although it was a campaign promise Obama broke and a flip flop issue for him as he co-sponsered the Bills in the Senate that made is illegal in the mid 2000s....but he bowed to the Bi Partisian pressure and signed the law as POTUS.

there is a thing called a veto
Bush and the republicans basically got that industry banned in 2006
But this doesnt surprise me Obama would be for it....he supported infanticide and abortions, what the hell, this is only a horse

you don't Veto a bill that has huge Bi Partisan support you fucktard , and if you took the time to research what the Bill really did you'd actually understand it....and Congress can override a POTUS Veto which is exactly what they were going to do on this issue had Obama not rubber stamped it.

all it did was infuse FEDERAL FUNDING back into the industry and open up Federal Inspections of the slaughter houses.

States are on their own whether or not they want to ban it....Tennessee right now is on the brink of banning the slaughtering of horses.

seriously try and distance yourself from the Fox talikng points once in awhile.

Horse Slaughter was never banned in the USA....in 1996 they just defended the Federal Inspection of Horse Meat which eventually ended the industry....and like I said Obama and Congress voted to Federally Fund the inspections again which opens the possibilty of the industry starting again.

Horse slaughter was never banned outright in the states, however a bill passed in 1996 banned the inspection of horse meat, effectively halting the horse slaughtering industry on US soil. This bill had its consequences, however – according to The Washington Times, “In 2010, about 138,000 horses were exported [many to Canada or Mexico] for slaughter”.
The 2007 bill prolonged the horses’ suffering as they were loaded into over-crowded trailers and shipped long distances to slaughterhouses, and even though the new bill eliminates this journey, it doesn’t make it morally sound or acceptable to slaughter these noble animals in the first place. Horses are smart, sensitive animals, the conditions in slaughterhouses are abominable. and industries that support the overpopulation of horses (such as racetracks) shouldn’t be encouraged to breed horses and make a quick buck by selling them for meat.

Slick, do you ever get tired of correcting Fox talking points?

the dudes an idiot....but he has a slim point on this subject Obama did flip flop on the issue.

all the bill does though like stated was open up Federal funding again , States are free to ban it if they choose....basically Obama and congess punted and handed it back to the States...guys like Tsmith should be happy about it , they're always screaming the individual States should be free to set their own laws without Federal oversight.

why ? they sent it back to the States , you know the thing you Conservatives are screaming for all the time.
