It amazes me that the Indians are the favorite in the Central. I live in NE Ohio and that team isn't good. If you need evidence, they signed Joba and Gorzelanny.

I really like their starting pitching over the Tigers and their offense might be improved if Napoli proves to be a good sign. Certainly a full year of Lindor will help. Not counting Napoli, Carlos Santana and Corey Kluber will be the only projected starters to be 30 or over during the season, and they both will have just turned 30. The Indians are a young team with talent in the minors. They have flexibility in their payroll. I would take Terry Francona over most managers.

Gorzelanny and Chamberlain signing minor league deals have no more an impact than Detroit signing Casey McGehee or Nate Schierholtz to minor league deals.
 
I agree. Their starting pitching is the best on the AL and close to the Mets. Better than the Tigers up the middle without Brantley starting the season.
