That's what all the talk is about today, who should be number two. Hopefully osu is thinking about that and not msu.

Big time test of maturity for osu, focus will be difficult

I have a feeling OSU had enough of an "oh shit" moment v UM that they will focus on MSU.
Yesterday seemed like a team that thought they were just going to win and found themselves in a hole. Sometimes you need that to refocus the team. Urban will use that to his advantage this week.

I'm very excited about this game. Buckeyes D needs to step up to win this game. Great matchup with opposite strength teams. MSU D v OSU O. Should be fun.

OSU should be ranked second, they are still undefeated. Beating Bama was a big deal for Auburn, no doubt, but it doesn't erase the loss to to LSU (who is overrated this year to begin with). If Auburn was undefeated, different story as they certainly have the stronger SOS, but they aren't.

I think voters are going to forgive the close game to Michigan for the same reason ND constantly gets too many votes - tradition. I think there will be a number of voters that put Auburn second on their ballots, putting OSU only slightly ahead, but that traditional voting will win out. The B1G is not a deep conference, and OSU did manage to avoid playing the second rated team all year. But it isn't the MEAC or CUSA. The B1G is pretty arguably better than the ACC outside FSU/OSU. If FSU will be ranked a solid first beating up on lesser ACC teams, it would be pretty hypocritical to demote OSU for playing in the B1G.

That said, MSU is going to beat them anyway and the SEC will slide in regardless.

Auburn pulling for MSU this Saturday of course!
