I am very glad that they are struggling early. I hope that they miss out on the playoffs because if that team starts to gel and gets rolling they could be really nasty at the end of the season and could still be a super bowl favorite. They are leaning the lesson this year that you can't buy a title. You need unselfish players willing to sacrifice their stats for the team. You need players who understand how defense works. One thing the we showed last year and the eagles are showing this year is you can have a dominate front 4 but if your LBers suck the defense will struggle. 2 reasons this year we are 5-0 one is Staff is healthy and the other is our LBers are so much better. Our DL has faith that if they funnel the RB's inside the tackle will be made. When we miss a tackle there is usually someone else close by. Last night Sammie Lee Hill made a tackle 20 yds down field. How many team have DT's that will run down a play like that? And we dont just have 1 that does they all do.
