Palmer Not Tendered

Did they see something in Hogue? Seems like Palmer was at least worth a cheap tender for depth/st
 
At this point there are so many players that are going to be available in the next 2 months I'm sure that LB depth will not be a huge concern.

There are a number of teams that are going to have to make cuts soon to even get under the cap.

And, there is always the option to re-sign Palmer even if they don't tender him.

Nevermind, not cheap
The linebacker could still return to the Lions, but it would have to be at a lower rate than the one-year, $1.3 million deal he would have been given as a restricted free agent in 2012.
