I actually like a handful of Nickelback songs. They do have a lot of bad songs, but they also have some good ones. Also, if you dont like them because so many bands sound like them, then shame on you. THEY copied Nickelback. Don't hate Nickelback because other bands are lazy.

That's amazing. I saw this all over my facebook news feed but I'm glad it's getting national attention. Nickelhack is a piece of shit that churns out the same song over and over. They are creatively bankrupt and an affront to good taste. The only band to maybe rival their sucktitude is Creed *shudder*. Everyone sign that petition; I know I did.

I can't imagine ever getting to the point where I could possibly care about who is performing at the intermission of a sporting event. I wish they would just stop the shit all together but they are doing it to try to capture a viewer who wouldn't normally be watching.

Which is why this petition is dumb and pointless.

I can't stand Nickelback but they are extremely popular and this is nothing but good for Detroit and the NFL. New viewers will be tuning in to watch the halftime show and possibly some of the game, others like myself will be taking a piss, getting some food, and/or changing the channel.

Good luck with this petition, but it's a waste of time. Try and see if they can replace them with someone as successful (ugh, I don't know how but they are) and popular as Nickelback.

But what cracks me up is that fans in Detroit are suddenly so pissed that they have Nickelback perfuming at half time, after spending 50 years pissed that they didn't have a Quarterback at all.
