One thing that may have gone unnoticed this season is the arrival of Phil Nevin, Toledo Mudhen manager. Recently, Mr. Nevin has climbed the ranks rather quickly and is getting some love around MLB as a hot MLB manager. I noticed one day he was in the dugout at Comerica, shocked by his arrival. I think this was by design, artistically rendered by Tigers Brass.
