Its going to take 10 wins to make a WC spot.

We need 3 wins (minimum) against NFC teams to get us to 7-5 in the conference.

Obviously makes the Bears game critical or if we lose a win against GB or NO will be required.

4 wins- (1)@Chi/GB/@NO/@GB, (2)Minn, (3)Car, (4)@Oak/SD

(10-6)- (7-5) conference

anything less, forget it

Who gives a crap. You could say the same about Philly, Atlanta, Chicago and whoever else might be in the WC conversation. And I'm not sure any of these get 10 wins.

As a fan, I do give a crap.....

After 8 games? Doesn't it drive you nuts worrying about a must win here, 2 more there etc. I'll start to give it crap when we "need" a win.

I look ahead......This game has a huge bearing on the playoff possibilities.......most fans start figuring out playoff spots with 2 weeks left in the season...as much of a fan of this team that I have been, the dont drive me nuts on anything they do....Ive seen 40 yrs of this

It does have a bearing, not sure huge though. But i just watch and hope for the best. I can't get into, assuming they lose next week -- "shit now what, GB and NO are must wins now". There is never a must win until there is a must win, lol. Late in the season for me.

I don't believe I mentioned any game as "a must win"

you said a win against the Bears was "critical".....if not then it makes a win against the Pack or Saints a need.

he probably took the critical as a must.

Chicago game is pretty big but not a must win. However, it's going to be pretty tough to rely on beating Green Bay, at New Orleans or at Green Bay if we do lose to Chicago. They could beat Carolina,Minnesota, at Oakland and San Diego and get to 10 but the conference record would be junk. Dallas, Chicago,Tampa and Philly may not get to 10 wins though and there are 2 WC spots not one.

Just glad we're talking about this instead of the draft for once but alot of work to do.

Yeah I did. Sorry, I think :)

So what your saying, its "almost" a must win game, lol. I think that's what I was trying to point out...beating Chicago is easier than the alternative

Even though I hate Philly I'm rooting for them tonight. Win next week and 3 game lead, really 4 -- Chicago is toast. But win or lose tonight, next week is more of a must win for Chicago.

Haha agreed. Almost must win whatever that means. How about we just go beat Chicago, Carolina and Green Bay somehow on Turkey Day. Then we can enjoy the final 5 games even more.

Every game is a "must win". To think otherwise is stupid
