I know it's only one quarter in, but the spacing on the court looks SO much better when only 2 of the big 3 are on the court at the same time (Smith, Drummond, Monroe).

Nice to see Pope with 18 points and going 4-8 from 3. Nothing new out of Monroe...just good production. Nothing new from Smith...4-11 from the field. Didn't like seeing Butler in the starting lineup then he plays 28 minutes, 0 points and 4 rebounds?

Butler was horrible. I watched the first half and OT. I have high hopes for them, but I see how limited they are with their talent. The guards just aren't very good. There is still not that guy that can take over a game.

If KCP continues to play well as he did last night (and in summer league) he should have the starting job locked down. Meeks can be a quality outside shooter, but he's not to KCP's level defensively.

SVG had said that this lineup and the rotations were not the regular season lineup or rotation, that he intends to switch things up a lot and experiment during the preseason. I'm not too worried about Butler's minutes. He's not much good, but honestly we may just not have any talent at SF. Singler laid a stinker himself, so neither player is pushing the coach to start them. I would expect Singler to win out by the start of the regular season, though. Singler is the better defender at SF, and a more versatile offensive player.
