Just thinking about the old ESPN forums during the weekend of the 2009 NFL Draft.

I remember people saying we should have taken Sanchez. I remember people saying we should have taken Freeman.

Heck, I remember even a few people saying Curtis Painter was a better talent than Stafford, and we could have gotten him in the 6th round.

I wonder how many of those people would trade Stafford for any single guy on that list. The Sanchize is a flop. Freeman is on his way out in TB. Not a single other guy on the list of 2009 QBs has produced.

Not looking to stir up old debates, or even a debate on Stafford and his talents, but it sure makes you wonder where all those guys that were screaming against Stafford are now.

Imagine how dominant our defense would've been last Sunday with Aaron Curry.....

Palmer wasn't at practice today. Curry is probably still better than the crap left on this roster.

They'd have to convince him to come out of retirement. Guess he called it quits after being cut by the Giants.

I was thinking about this same thing the other day when I ran across back to back articles about Sanchez's busted shoulder and Freeman having his captain status revoked.

I don't remember anyone wanting Sanchez. Trading back for Freeman, Curry for sure and that LT.

I sure as hell remember....i remember it all.

I am not sure I remember anyone calling for Dirty Sanchez BEFORE the draft, but that rookie year all I heard was how we took the wrong QB.

I remember well. After a couple of playoff wins, ESPN was all over Sanchez's nuts. Freeman had a good year or two as well. Stafford was hurt. People were calling bust. Fuck 'em.. It all looks different now with the other two on a free fall out of the league.

John Clayton said Freeman was on his way to being 'elite'.
