Has there ever been a 23 year old QB that's had a better NFL season than Stafford statistically?

Furthermore, has there ever been a QB whose had a better season within the first 3 years of his career than Stafford did this year?

The only one I can think of off the top of my head is Dan Marino.

Regardless, outside chance at 40 TD probably 4800 yards is a heck of a season. Never thought he'd have those numbers.

Marino's 2nd year.
Favre had similar numbers his 4th or 5th year
Rodgers if you count when he actually started.

Stafford had a good year. If he can keep it up, could go after favre's records.

Too bad rodhers sat on his ass.

:) Just kidding, 3rd year with 28 starts is different than being 26 when he reached those starts. And 36 TD with a game left is better than Rodgers had done until now. And Staff will probably have more yards in a season than Rodgers ever got too because he sits this week.

In fact, I think Staff is the better QB. Hey, what do you know. :)
