Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette predicts the Steelers will select Memphis NT Dontari Poe at No. 24 overall.
Bouchette has been one of the most accurate beat writers in reading his team's first-round intentions. It's worth noting, however, that Bouchette acknowledges this as one of the most unpredictable drafts he's seen. In addition to Poe, Bouchette lists Alabama LB Dont'a Hightower, Wisconsin OG Kevin Zeitler, and Ohio State OT Mike Adams as possibilities in the first round.

I fully believe that, if he's available at 23, someone will try and jump Pitt for him. Lions could fetch a good sum of picks.

This would please me.

UNLESS Glenn falls to us.

Who would jump them? NE, Denver, GB, BAL?

Hes going to drop because Cox and Brockers are better than him. Dude was from a dII school and did nothing his entire career. Would be a 6th round pick if he wasnt a fat ass that could run fast. I dont see too many people spending high round picks to get him.

Everyone I hear says he's not that good if you look at the tape. Probably made some money with a good combine but from the little I know about him, he's not a first round pick.

Poe's size though at almost 6'4 350 makes him a viable option for a 4-3 team with a lethal DE and LBs....he will eat up blockers and take the middle away.

it's why i mocked him to the Bears.

Jerel Worthy is better then Poe.....IMO

I've never seen a big man that athletic. Doesn't really play like he's a freak but his coaching staff wasn't great. A little coaching and he could be dominant.

I don't think he gets past the Jets. Rex Ryan thinks he's the second coming of Ngata.

i actually thought the bears would be a good spot for him too but all the bears fans i talk to say how happy the team is with their DT depth and how Marinelli has gone away from the bigger DTs like Ted washington to smaller guys in CHI. another one of Marinellis brilliant moves....nothing like a bunch of small dudes to clog up the middle!

I think he's gone by then. If it came down to those two they would go Floyd IMO.

ya Floyd is the other guy i have a hard time mocking cause so many teams have the need.....i got him going to buffalo and them ignoring their oline needs. I dont think he would get past ARI....offense has been crap since Boldin left. But ya...jets would be next on the list to grab him id think followed by the bears. Heck, SEA could even pull the trigger on a WR.

I've read the Bills are intent on Mark Barron....smoke ? looking for someone to deal with them...or will they do it.

we'll see soon I guess

Floyd fits there MO. The Barron to Buffalo smoke is definitely there too. Last thing I read was that the Bills will make a surprise pick if their guy is still there which makes me think Floyd.

ESPN's Adam Schefter is essentially guaranteeing that Alabama S Mark Barron will not make it to the Cowboys' pick at No. 14 overall.

Believed to be ranked as a top-ten, even top-six player on many if not most boards around the league, Barron is considered a strong possibility to be Buffalo's pick at No. 10 overall. The Chiefs could also give him a long look at No. 11, and we wouldn't rule out Carolina considering Barron at No. 9. Our prediction, as it stands, is Barron going to the Bills and Michael Brockers to Dallas.

I honestly don't know much about Barron, hell most of these guys, but as a S is 14 about right or do S generally getting drafted later?
