Tigers are on pace to get to 688.5 as of now.

Question 1 will the Tigers will get to 700 runs with this season!?

Texas leads the ALin runs, and is on pace to get to 856.6!

Question 2 any body taking the Tigers over the Rangers in this series?

My answer to 1 is they better.

My answer to 2 is they better.

I think they get to 700, only because they still have plenty of games against Central foes and those four all have average to below average pitching this season.

As for the Rangers series, I'd be happy if they don't get swept.

yeah, the texas series will be brutal. no verlander either. i would hope we win at least 1 but i would honestly be shocked if we won 2 or 3 games. texas outclasses us in every facet of the game; their pitching, hitting, fielding, and coaching are all better than ours (well, maybe not the pitching...ours has improved and they have some injuries).

Tigers might be on pace for 1000+ runs when this game is over.
Of course....we will get 2 hits over the next 7 innings and will be down going into the 8th.....

Ahhhhh optimism!

Last year = 329 runs after 72 games (458 in the last 90)

this year = 306 runs after 72 games

odds are in their favor to get to 700 runs.

Just check in after a family movie, and yea Texas and me R looking at the scoreboard and saying the same thing, stats R for nothing until the game is over.

But I'll take a little egg on the face for a Tiger win or two! Could be bedtime as 4 O'clock comes too early but will try to hang in there for a while.

After that series with Texas and tonight's win, the Tigers are on pace for about 710 runs.
