Ryan Budget

sounds like a great budget that will make those legions of lazy welfare recipients into hardworking dynamos, while creating additional jobs and putting people back to work!

it's not like the long term numbers going back to the 80's when they've passed such bills indicate the contrary occurs, or anything...

I've always argued you can't have it both ways, you can't lose jobs and wages to technology, globalization, the weakening of unions, etc and then simultaneously have a smaller welfare state. I guess Ryan feels differently, maybe the working poor can borrow 15k from their parents and start a business!
