the 13th anniversary of one of the greatest tragedies in my life time.

this can only mean one thing: it's time to attack Iraq. Again.

We have to prevent 9/11 times 1,000.

Goddamn, the stupid in those days made my head hurt. If things aren't actually better in practice, at least the rhetoric isn't as pathetic & dumb.

moron show some fucking respect and not imbecility

The GM of the Windsor Spitfires told me: "Have you watched TV in the last 30 minutes?"

I was in the Navy at the time 9-11 happened. I was station on Naval Subase Bangor, just outside of Seattle, Washington.

I woke up that morning in my barracks. I come down to go to my building and notice a blip of the news on a lounge TV. So, I was just thinking, maybe it was just your run of the mill tragedy. Like the Flight 255 near Detroit MEtro in the 80s.

I go to my building and everybody in glued to the TV there in the lounge and we all watch as the 2nd tower is hit. We immediately knew that we were at war. the base went from Threatcon Alpha to Delta in a matter of moments. Nobody on or off the base.

Never forget those who lost there lives and pray for their families

You and other service people (like my first-born) are defending the right for him to spout off like that. It's all part of the same compact, I suppose. Some do; others complain.

Hey Champ, this is supposed to be a memorial thread for those we lost on 9/11. I can't/won't stop you from posting what you did on this thread, but if you're going to attack the response to 9/11, start a new thread, please. At least that way you won't be hijacking this one.

edit: Actually, it's not stated in the OP that it's a memorial thread, but I guess it's implied.

Remember the sense of unity in the aftermath? It's sad that it takes a tragedy and/or an enemy to get us to act like that.

This thread (by OP) is 50% 9/11 and 50% WWF.

I have a hard time showing respect to anything that puts those 2 things on equal footing.

I put the WWE in there because they were the first group gathering since 9-11. and as many of u know the WWE is a big supporter of the Armed Forces with many of them being Vets or family of vets.

During Wrestlemania 19, the Undertaker came out on his bike with a huge american Flag on the back in a tribute to his real life nephew who was stationed in Afghanistan at the time.

so if u actually watch the Videos instead of being condinsending you would actually realize its 100% 9-11
