In a surprise to absolutely no one, Harbaugh named Patterson the starting QB.

I like that this is settled before the last week heading into kickoff. Patterson gets all the first team reps leading up to the opener against NDSucks.

Apparently, we will be running option plays because of Shea's speed. A nice little wrinkle to go with his arm.

folks said McCaffrey was the most "like Luck" when he committed, but I think Patterson's mobility will open up a lot in both play action and read option. TEs and RBs will be used to set up deep balls to Black and DPJ.

fair statement. I think the team will get an upgrade at the position and (god forbid NO INJURIES) finally some stability.

We also have four guys wearing 5 and 6. Pretty ridiculous. Just pick a number no one else has.
