According to the NFL app on my phone.

Thanks Tony, you didn't block or catch very well.

Happy trails

Edit...that's Scheffler, not Sheffler

A concussion + Fauria...wasn't going to end well for Scheffler.

I've gone ahead and traced the trade back to what we eventually got.

The Lions traded Ernie Sims to Philly in a three-team trade acquiring Tony Scheffler and a 2010 7th round pick (220).

We traded the 2010 7th round pick (220) to Philly for a 2011 6th round pick (186).

We traded the 2011 6th round pick (186) + Dan Gronkowski to Denver for Alphonso Smith and a 2011 7th round pick (205).

We traded the 2011 7th round pick (205) + 3rd round pick (75) + 4th round pick (107) + 5th round pick (154) for a 2011 2nd round pick (57) + 5th round pick (157) + 7th round pick (209).

We drafted Mikel Leshoure with the 2011 2nd round pick (57), Doug Hogue with the 2011 5th round pick (157), and Johnny Culbreath with the 2011 7th round pick (209).

All in all,

It looks like we basically ended up getting rid of Ernie Sims + Dan Gronkowski for Tony Scheffler, Alphonso Smith, and Johnny Culbreath.

All of them are FAs now, except for Sims, who's a backup LB for Dallas.

Wow grandy, thats an interesting look. So really none of the players involved through the course of that trade were extremely productive for any of their teams.

In the end though, we got some production out of Alphonso Smith, on a very limited basis. We got a couple of decent seasons out of Scheffler, although nothing to write home about, and the other names involved were pretty much dead weight all the way around.

I would actually say the Lions came out on top of all of that mess, but not by such a huge margin I would call it a win.

Looks like we signed Barry Richardson for O-Line depth.

Barry Richardson? Is he the Dorin Dickerson of OLinemen? Hope we dont release him or our coaches have anything good to say about him. He's a key cog in a championship run.

Be careful, Lions coaches....Mitch is listening to all of you

He bums me out so much. Dude had flashes of being really, really good. Just couldn't keep it together consistently.

He was a ballhawk, he just took way too many risks
