Wow, Demetrius Cooper is a fucking animal. The best player on the field for either team so far. White leads 13-3. Lippett, Price, and Terry standing out offensively. Cox, Jones, and Cooper defensievly.

1st half was very entertaining and very well played. 2nd half, they have a running clock and have dialed it down a little bit.

Really was impressed, easily the deepest team I've seen in EL. The D line is looking deeper and better. D backs also excellent. O line is solid, and we have more offensive play makers than I can remember.

Players that stood out:
Cooper, Calhoun, Thomas, Heath, Jones, Harris, Robinson, Drummond, Cox, and Edmundson on defense. Lippett, Conklin, Price, Terry, Allen, Jackson, Hill, Burbridge, and Holmes on offense.

Hicks with the pick to end the game, he made several plays late in the game.

Really, the depth and talent on the D line and the secondary is just incredible. Linebacker is a little thinner, but Jones and Harris played well, and Bullough was running around. Ed Davis back and healthy gives us 3 very good starters, need some players to step up for us to have the depth we'll need there.

Offensively, the line is very very good through the 1st 6, don't quite have as much depth as last season, but the skilled positions are potentially 2 or 3 levels above last season.

Just sat down to watch it, I was up there for the first half but the little guy kept me busy so I couldn't watch the way I liked to.

I do love the depth at de, we will lose rush and likely Calhoun. I like the idea of cooper and Malik next year

Quick question about Jarius Jones. Is he still on the team? And if not, why didn't he take a medical redshirt? He had two interception in the western michigan game if I remember correctly. Could have made an impact this year.

He was a 5th year senior last year. Pretty sure in the 3 seasons that he had injuries he still played in too many games to get a medical redshirt. Not 100% sure on that. Just going off memory.

Jairus Jones could have gotten a 6th year, but he graduated and chose not to. Mylan Hicks has moved to that hybrid 3rd down LB/DB position and made some plays yesterday. Hicks gives us some more experience and has the speed to cover WRs and the size to help in the run.
