Look on the bright side...with Ebron, stafford has no more excuses to suck. He'll be done if he can't improve with this team. This speeds up the process of him being our guy or being gone.

True enough. I don't hate Ebron just wanted to go elsewhere. Not that he's here I'll be routing my ass off for him.

That's what I am saying. Wasn't my choice but will definatly be behind him 100% and hope he can be but Pettigrew was suppose to be and better.

Do you trust Lombardi? Then the pick is as good as it can get. Size and speed never hurt, only dropped passes. Can he catch a Stafford howitzer? Let's have fun finding out.

He is our guy, love it or leave it. We are too decent to draft high enough for an elite gamechanger. We ride or die on his arm and I am fine with that. Give an actual coaching staff a chance and we will see what that amazing arm can do.

I'm more worried about his high flying missiles.

I'm on board!! x)

I may consider the Lions-free approach next season...the frustration just doesn't seem worth it anymore.

I wanted defense like mostly everyone else.

But Mayhew did exactly what he said he was going to do. This move didn't excite me but didn't surprise me either. He said they would take BPA. The BPA was Ebron and they took him. It's interesting that the other defensive options (except for Donald) that I heard most guys discussing dropped. Dix and Dennard both fell over 10 spots from where we picked, which tells me the other teams saw what the Lions saw. That these guys weren't worth a reach at 10.

The one issue I had was that it seemed (I'm going off of memory here) like the Lions put that pick in almost right away. I would have loved a trade down and maybe one wasn't coming, but it seemed like they didn't give it any time. Ebron should fit nicely. I just wish he could play CB.

I'm with Mitch...I think Ebron is a fine player, but it seemed like we had plenty of quality options available at needed positions.

I think what I feel now must be similar, to those who hated the Pettigrew pick back in '09.
