Well I guess it's safe to say that debate is officially over.

Jeez, Flacco is a mess out there as well.

Good thing for them they have Ray Rice.

I don't think there ever was a debate....on this board. Take this over to the four letter and I'm pretty sure you'll find some clowns that will defend Sanchez to the death. Fact of the matter is that Sanchez has put up okay numbers with a strong 'D' and a great ground game, while Staff has put up excellent numbers with no ground game and a susceptible yet improving defense.

If I'm building a franchise and I have to choose between the two...Not even close. Staff hands down.

This made me lol pretty hard:

But mark sanchez win games! That's all he does! He's a winner!

lol i hate that argument. his defense and ground game wins games. But, i will hand it to him, in the playoffs he steps up.

I just want to know if they gave Sanchez a lifetime supply of dental dams as a signing bonus.

Worst duo QB I've seen all year. Flacco was just as bad, except only one fumble lost and only 1 pick 6. Lol. They were just brutal.

sanchez is shit next to staff. i hate seeing the ball fly off his hands! he throws a flutter ball

Sanchez isn't a top 15 Qb in the league. Maybe top 20 if I really thought about it.

I was looking at it today and Freeman, Sanchez and Bradford are ranked 27th, 28th and 30th in passer rating. Stafford is 7th.

Ahh, time is a beautiful thing. Those hilarious people that were on Sanchez's nuts on the espn boards are pretty quiet these days

There was never a debate for me.. I never thought Sanchez was any good and he was an overrated prospect that barely started 1 year for USC.. It was always between Stafford and Freeman for me.. I think Stafford, Freeman and Bradford(if his front office ever drafts an offense) have very good careers ahead of them..

To be fair, you have to watch the Rams play.. That team is pathetic especially with an injured Steven Jackson.. Their line is worse than the Lions, and Bradford has possibly the worst WR core in the league to work with.. They are awful..

Besides Steven Jackson being banged up I was assuming he was gonna have a good year this year. They did miss out on Julio Jones, but he still has the same receivers as last year right? I really don't know anything about the rams and barely anything about Bradford, just that the front office was entertaining the idea of drafting him before he decided to stay another year.

Bradford doesn't have anyone to throw to, and isn't getting any protection. I'll give him a pass, for now. Sanchez sucks and we've known that. Jets fans probably even know that, and accept it, because the rest of the team is so good. Too bad you invest your time in a young below average QB. The Jets could have went after Hasselbeck in the offseason and be Superbowl contenders right now. They are wasting that defense. It's not like they need an elite QB with that team, but they do need something better.

Bradfords #1 receiver from last year, Danny Amendola (from Dallas Cowboys hardknocks fame), has been injured since week 1 with a dislocated elbow. When your #1 is a 5' 9" 175lbs white guy that didn't make it off of two teams practice squads till his third year in the league I don't really think it bodes well for Bradford as a passer. Plus ol Jason Smith is looking more and more like a bust with each passing game.

Now this isn't necessarily a shot at Danny A as he would be a fine slot guy (think poor man's Welker) but he certainly shouldn't be relied upon as the top dog. They did bring in Mike Sims-Walker hoping he and Bradford would take the leap together but through 4 games he's been mediocre at best with about 10 balls.

Bradford's rating isn't much off from last season but less than 50% completeion rate. With 3 td and only one int that tells me he's not taking risk, most likely he can't fit the ball in certain small pockets when there are defenders all around. He needs his receivers to be open open. No running back hurts but he has the same pathetic receivers he had last season. He's regressed. Sanchez blows and I think Freeman is overrated.

I had a feeling both Bradford and Freeman would regress statistically this year due to tougher schedules this time around. And Sanchez just blows, if we had him instead of Stafford we'd probably be 1-3 right now.
