Ok how about everyone make some stat predictions for our Tigers.

92-70. Win the division by 8. Raburn will play more 2B than LF. Inge will be on team until at least July. Miguel will finally get the MVP award. DY gets an All-Star spot. Fister has a better ERA than JV.

That's it for now.

99-63

#1 overall record

JV 2.81 ERA
Fister 3.31 ERA
Scherzer 3.78 ERA
Porcello 4.11 ERA
Fifth Starter(s) 5+ ERA

Jackson .275 12HR 47RBI
Boesch .310 28HR 85RBI
Cabrera .350 33HR 108RBI
Prince .298 35HR 125RBI
DY .285 25HR 88RBI
Raburn .275 20HR 58RBI
Peralta .280 15HR 51RBI
Avila .250 21HR 48RBI
Inge .210 13HR 39RBI

Of course...I'm probably stretching a few numbers.

Though I honestly don't think Inge hits 13 dingers or hits .210 for that matter :hehe:

Inge released before the season starts

Tigers acquire a veteran starter by the end of April but probably before season starts

Boesch hits .300, 25 HR's, 91 RBI's

Porcello wins 20 games

Delmon Young hits .300, 25 HR's, 110 RBI's

Tigers lead the league in errors

JV wins his second straight Cy Young

Miggy finally wins MVP.

Tigers 1st Place in Division
Lose in ALCS
Prince, Cabby, Valvarde, Verlander, and Delmon all-stars.
Tigers trade or sign a vet for 5th SP
AJax and Raburn play average (which is good); Avila's number drop

DY .285 BAVG .305 OBP .445 OBP .750 OPS 15 HRs 40 GIDP

Think about it. DY will most likely hit #5 most of the season. He already is known to ground into his fair share of double plays. With Cabrera and Fielder hitting in front of him (and also slow of foot), there will be plenty of opportunities!

Well since its never been done, 40 GIDP, why not

And way Quintin Berry finds a spot on the 25 man roster? I know there isn't much room in the OF and him already at 27 (and being a non-roster invitee), technically not a prospect any longer -- but a speedster with good defense among the plethora of crap D would be nice.

No chance.

He's not even a good minor league player.

Yeah, I think my prediction on him is wishful thinking. He is probably no where near 25 hr's and 110 rbi's.

I know the days of having a guy just for defense replacement and PR are done with but I'll take him B9, 1 run lead over DY. Or Raburn etc. I know he can't hit just a thought.
