Get StartedThey called up Salty too???
Looks like it. Only 3 months too late on Stewart.....but hey.....better late than never I guess!
This happens alot with good minor leaguers, teams don't want the FA clock to start early.
Players Union will be hardline shortly with a new person taking over that part of negotiations with Tony Clark.
Yep. Probably why he wasn't brought up when Lugo was.. And they're make sure he doesn't reach the threshold surpassing rookie status.
I don't fully understand that super 2 rule...but Reb tried to explain it to me and from what he said they could have brought him up in May and it would have been fine.
Just going by memory...I could be wrong.
Christin Stewart did not start today because he just arrived and is on 2 1/2 hours of sleep, but Gardenhire said he will play *every day* this month in left field -- not DH.
That basically means Jones, Reyes and Mahtook will share center field from here on out.
Might as well. Young players need to play the field. And Gardy needs to evaluate him. Hopefully he's better in left than what others are saying.
When I seen him this year, he did OK. Nothing great mind you, but I have read worse reports on him.
