After last year’s controversial loss to the Dallas Cowboys, the Detroit Lions entered Jerry World with a point to prove—and they delivered in a big way, cruising to a dominant 47-9 victory in one of their most impressive performances yet.

From the opening snap to the final whistle, the Lions were in full control. The offense was firing on all cylinders, with every player contributing, while the defense completely smothered any attempt by the Cowboys to get into a rhythm. Physically, the Lions overpowered Dallas on both sides of the ball, thriving in the trenches. Detroit’s rushing attack found consistent success, while the Cowboys quickly became one-dimensional after the Lions shut down their running game. With the defense neutralizing any offensive threat and the offense executing flawlessly, this was the statement win the Lions had been searching for.
