To start the Bucs were 10-6.
9 of those wins came against the NFC West, Cleveland, Cincy, Carolina (twice), and Washington. They were 1-5 against teams over .500, and 0-1 against the Lions at home.
Other than the Saints, their 9 other wins came against opponents with a combined 44-100 record on the season. And they played the Saints in week 17 when they had nothing to play for. They had quite possibly the easiest schedule ever.
They didn't make any offseason additions other than their draft picks.
This year the Bucs aren't as lucky as they get the NFC North instead of the NFC West, which they swept. I'm not sure they can beat any of the North teams let alone all of them.
And finally we beat them at their home with Drew Stanton starting.
We're better, they might be the same, and their same might be a mirage.
