Even then, fuck it. A 16 team football conference is retarded. I want a playoff, but if the only way to get it is to go to those monstrosities, then I'm firmly in the "don't ruin the regular season" camp.

College football is already ruined, aside from the gameday experience of the campuses and college stadiums. ESPN determines before the season who will be considered for the Heisman, which teams will be hyped for ratings and which teams will ultimately be in the running for the title, from the outset.

Megaconferences and a quasi playoff system coming from it is all about money anyways ...not making the sport better (or having more integrity)

Only playing Wisconsin once or twice every 8 years would ruin it more, IMO.
