The good and bad: Eagles game

Good:

Our defensive line played awesome and finally it translated into turnovers and sacks.
Secondary played well feeding off the dline pressure.
Oline pass pro is ridiculously good.
ST didnt fuck up
We won....somehow

Bad:

We do some really dumb shit schematically on O and D
Our offense blows thru 3.5 quarters every game
Way too many penalties
Schwartz tried to run the clock out on ourselves..maybe he forgot we were losing.
We settle for a 45 yard game winner when its 2nd and 2.
Our Wrs cant get open until the 4th qtr
"Establishing the run" results in no big plays...ever
Short yardage run game is horrid
Miscommunication on defense leads to 2 long TDs...we have a lot of those this year.

We don't have any "big play" guys on the roster outside of CJ. THAT is the biggest reason for the lack of big plays.....not trying to run the ball!

The fact that you left out the play of Delmas on your good list is fuckin ridiculous....that guy played his ass off today and showed why he is the heart and soul of the D.

Yeah Delmas staying healthy Is the key on defense. He reminds me so much of Bob Sanders in both the impact he makes whether seen or unseen as well as unfortunately the injury problems.

Delmas was the biggest difference on the field yesterday....bar none. But honestly the eagles oline is a hot mess...truly atrocious. Glad we won but it wasnt pretty.
