2017 LB commit Darien Clemens tore his ACL this weekend. At MSU your commitment goes both ways, the staff committed to Clemens too. The staff reassured Clemens he still has a scholarship and sent him a get well soon card. He'll be part of the 2017 class. Played mostly RB in high school, but the staff thinks his skill set is ideal for the STAR LB position on our defense. Plan A recruit who dazzled at camp.

We can all name programs we are competing with who have thrown away multiple kids because they got injured before or during their senior seasons. Dantonio will never run a program that processes kids through and he's always going to do his very best to keep his word. It's that type of program that he's won 3 Big Ten Titles with and it's that type of program that is going to remain here long after Dantonio retires. Really proud of the culture Dantonio promotes at MSU.
