Congratulations to Rumseyhouse77 for having the best Oregon State Score game Prediction of 34-9 and a shout out to TheVictors for calling a big play on Special Teams making a difference. Of course it wasn?t a Peppers KR for TD and instead a long snapper from Corvallis who overshot the punter by an unbelievable distance ?but I digress. On to Vegas, baby!

At times, folks will debate which basketball team introduced America to the revolutionary BAGGY SHORTS phenomenon and whether or not it was GrandMaMa and Tark the Sharks? Runnin? Rebels or the iconic MICHIGAN FAB-5. Regardless of which hoops program it was, that never stopped John Stockton or Karl Malone from wearing the Larry Bird short shorts well into the last days of their respective careers.

Never known much as for it?s the football teams, the (0-2) UNLV Running Rebels come to Ann Arbor as 34 point underdogs to square off against the (1-1) Wolverines, who are coming off a very solid 35-7 point victory over the Beavers. The Over/Under for the contest is 49.5 Total Points and if the Vegas prognosticators are correct, we might expect to see a repeat of last week?s game.

As a corollary to the actual game match up this week is the debate over the 2015 rendition of the color Yellow and whether or not this year?s MICHIGAN team is more historically Maize than in past years under Dave Brandon and Adidas? hyper-neon-Oregon-wannabe-HD-friendly-hue ?.

Well one thing is for sure ?whether ?highlighter neon? or not, nobody will ever confuse MICHIGAN with Delaware, unlike this week?s incoming foe attempting to masquerade as a Nike-designed Poor Man?s osu ?

With an honorable mention to the Kansas Jayhawk New York Giants and the Iowa State Cyclone Trojans ?

So post your prediction with some supportive analysis if you wish, but leave the woofing and barking for the other threads and for the one after The Zoomies upset state.

42-3 Michigan.

Rudock throws for 150 and no picks. The ground game stays on track as Smith goes off on the mighty Rebel Defense. Drake gets a few more carries and along with Ty and Green, the team's total goes over 300.

Last week UNLV only managed 3 points vs UCLA. I think this will be a big blowout game for Michigan. Finally no turnovers and a KO or PR for a TD. Energy in the running game will continue into this week's game. When I first considered the score for this game I thought 42-3 or 42-6, but since Monster and ML have already taken these predictions I'll go big 56-3 Michigan.

GO BLUE! Finally Michigan is beating teams that they used to beat easily.

By the way Vic, I meant to ask that my score prediction winnings be sent to the Michigan Athletic Dept to establish an athletic scholarship in my name. I hope the check hasn't been mailed out to me already!

Michigan 41...
UNLV ZERO.

First shutout of the Harbaugh era. Last week was all I needed to see.

56-0 good guys. Speight will play the entire 4th quarter due to the starting offense being exhausted from runnin' all over the Rebels. Smith sets a new career high for yards even though he only gets 18-20 carries before resting.

Michigan is probably somewhere between UNLV's prior two opponents Northern Illinois and UCLA and UNLV put up some points on NIU ...UCLA, not so much.

Invigorated by the Oregon State win and building on that momentum, I like MICHIGAN to win but win in the old Carr/Bo fashion where the defense plays stout, the offense plays physically and Coach H calls off the dogs in the 4th quarter.

MICHIGAN - 38
Nevada at Las Vegas - 13

Honestly, i hope Morris burns any potential redshirt. Like the kid, but almost as overrated as derrick green was.

UM - 70
UNLV - 14 (both in 4th quarter vs defensive players not even listed in the program)
