What would it be like if the Electoral College changed the composite will of the voters? Yes, Trump would still likely be chosen by Congress, but I don't know the timing for that or the actual process. Would Hillary remain in play? Would Kasich throw his hat back into the ring? Can non-candidates nominate themselves or have others do so? Could Algor or John Kerry finally get to be President? Would the nation find itself back in campaign mode?

How bad would it be and how well or misbehaved would Trump supporters actually become? :bat:

I think Trump is a piece of shit and I'd be pissed if they went against the voters. It wouldn't likely change the decision and would just serve to further divide the country and diminish it's trust in government even more.

I feel the same way although I think we differ in one respect which is that while I think Trump is a steaming heap of dung, I'm glad he won and not Hillary.

Every time you hear about electors it's electors bound to Hillary. With all the talk only one bound to Trump came out and said he'll go a different way.. Even Michigan, and Arizona electors - all of them, came out and said they'd do their duty and vote Trump.

Yeah, that'd be correct. I wouldn't have been 'glad' in either case. I think either will/would be terrible in their own special way. Basically the choice was a good pegging or a casual fisting. Either way, I'm clenching my butthole and counting the days until 11/2020.

so you can vote for Kanye?

I should have been more clear. I'm not glad he won, as I don't like him at all - he's not a good person and he's not a conservative. I see him as the lesser of two evils and got the sense you felt she was.

You'll see.

To be perfectly honest, if you put a gun to my head on Tuesday and asked me who the lesser evil was of the two, my answer might be different than what I gave with a gun to my head on Monday. I know everyone is supposed to pick a side in this shit show but I honestly wasn't outraged when HRC didn't win and I wouldn't have been outraged if she did win. I don't like most of Trump's picks for his cabinet but I'm sure HRC's would've sucked shit too.

I'm really trying to just distance myself from all of the shit slinging that's going on amongst friends, family, and co-workers. My family has flourished under Obama's presidency, a presidency some say has been terrible for the economy. Now people are telling us how bad it's going to be under Trump. We're simply shrugging it off, putting our chins down, and doing our thing. It worked for the last 'terrible' president, I don't see why it won't be more of the same for this next one.

P.S. Fuck Kanye.

Well, it's done. Now we discover what the outcome will actually be with Trump in the WH. I've never disengaged from the country as a result of who was elected president and I'll not start today.
