TJ Jones to remain on pup the remainder of season

I remember our last guy couldn't hold onto the ball and Ross could so I was okay with it at that time. 2 years later and I realize that's Ross only thing he's good at.

technically, it's IR, not PUP list anymore. and do you really want a guy with nerve damage on the active roster?

secondly, Ross hasn't been on our roster for much more than a year (since Oct '13), so i'm not sure where you're getting the 2 years from.

He played 10 games for us, so technically more than a year and a half not 2. Better?

If it means Ross no longer ties up a roster spot so he can make a fair catch on kickoffs...absolutely. Corey Fuller is said to have track speed, I say give him a crack at it. Activate Ross when we play in another blizzard

Ross is top 10 on both kick off and return yard average.

This is just the game now. Punters are better. Kicking ball higher making returns tougher or non existent. Kickoffs are either going through end zone or higher to allow coverage like punts. Dominate kick returnees are going to continue to decrease.

I don't have any actual numbers but just from watching the games it seems like Ross does a pretty good job in YAC in the receiving game. I have no problem keeping his role as a #3 WR but I would like to have another return man. I still think this would be a good job for Broyles.
