The kid is on fire in Grand Rapids.... 25 points in 22 games. He turns just 21 in a few weeks, but I wouldn't be surprised to get some time with the Wings as early as next season.
We have a lot of UFAs coming off the cap for next year, and on top of that, the cap is rumored to increase to nearly $70 million. What I'm getting at here is that if we can bring up Jurco and Mrazek, their cheaper contracts will give us more payroll flexibility to land that other puck-moving defenseman we need as well as a goal-scoring winger.
