Too early to change rotation?

I was looking ahead to next week and I noticed an off day prior to the KC series. Is it too early to change up the rotation which would allow JV to pitch in game 3 of the Sox series? They could let JV pitch on the 28th (4 days rest) and pitch Sanchez on the 29th (6 days rest). That would set up Scherzer, Fister and JV vs the Sox.

Probably depends on how close we are to the division lead.

Don't give them any ideas, I'm going to the Labor Day game vs the Indians.

It was already confirmed on Twitter by Keith Law that Leyland said he will be pitching Verlander Tuesday instead of Sanchez so he can pitch against Chris Sale Sunday Night.

You're assuming Fister will be ready to start by then?
