I don't think Vonleh going pro is a big shock though like most he would probably benefit from another year in school (and like most, he passes that up).

Hollowell was always more potential than anything else. His shooting percentages are terrible and I don't know if I've ever seen a guy miss more shots inside than he does. Still, he's a guy that could have still developed into a good player.

I'm not sure what they have coming in next year.

What's the deal? do players just hate Crean? Only players I've heard talk about him are Dwayne Wade and Oladeepo and they both had nothing but positive things to say about him. As far as I know, he still has a good relationship with Izzo. How bad can he be? Or is this just a run of bad circumstances? Seems odd.

Without looking I know they have James Blackmon because we were in on him. I'm really shocked they didn't use Vonleh more, he only got something like 7 shots per game. Dakich used to talk about it all the time but it's really true, he was underutilized there

Speaking of transfers anyone check out Brandan Kearney's stats at Arizona State? That hasn't exactly worked out. Maybe, if he doesn't transfer Ellis doesn't come here which I think will work out nicely for us.

I wish he would have transferred earlier so we would have offered Demetrius Jackson, Zach Irvin, or Derek Walton instead of slow playing while we waited on parker and young

Addition by subtraction. Those guys were fine players but it's time for them to go. Buckeyes have serious talent coming in. Won't be surprised to see them do better next year.

they have a very good freshman class but it will take time to develop. it's possible that they are better next year, 10-8 in conference and a first round tourney exit isn't exactly setting the bar high
