A lot of people have been down on Trice from time to time but I'd like you to compare these numbers

Kalin Lucas as a sophmore, BTPOY, led us to a national title game

14.7 ppg
4.6 apg
2.1 rpg
1.0 steals

mateen cleaves as a senior on a NC team

12.1 ppg
6.9 apg
1.8 rpg
1.4 steals

Trice 2015

14.9 ppg
5.3 apg
3.3 rpg
1.2 steals

Of course total numbers can be deceiving and percentages matter but trice did have a very good senior season. No pg other than magic was consistently great every game.

Most have a problem with his horrible finishes to many games this year. Mainly choking at the free throw line.

I haven't quite gotten the criticism he's been on the receiving end of at times this year. He had to carry a much heavier offensive burden than should have been reasonably expected and managed it pretty well for the most part while still manning the point.

We remember the close losses but he's also been heroic at times too. He pretty much single handedly kept us from getting blown out early today. I'm not saying he was an all conference guy but he should be remembered for having a very good senior season. He had a better senior year than Appling or neitzel, of course Appling had injuries but trice has done a very good job in his first year as a starter
