to the Colts for only a first round draft pick. WTF!?! I thought he was on his way to being a stud. Looks like the Browns are trying to get Teddy Bridgewater with the #1 overall pick.

Imagine that. The Wheeden experiment didn't work out.

Seems like a fair trade..

Not even close to a fair trade. Richardson was the THIRD OVERALL PICK OF THE 2012 DRAFT. Didn't Cleveland trade up for him, too?

Colt's made out like bandits on this trade. Holy shit.

A guy who broke Jim Brown's rookie rushing record is traded two games into his second year in the league?

Dude rushed for 950 yards and 11 TD's as a rookie behind a horrible O-line.

Wow, I am shocked.

Got to be good for my fantasy team. But as a browns fan I'm disappointed.

DC 33

As a Browns fan myself, awfully disappointed, but to look at the silver lining, its great for my fantasy team.

Clevelands fault for drafting a rb that high. Tough call who won that trade...on one hand there's no way in hell a 3 ypc back should still be worth first rd value. On the other you rarely see 1st rd talent traded mid season and indy really needed an upgrade at rb. Fair trade imo but it diesnt negate the fact that cle is stupid as hell for drafting rb that high then trading him a year later...fair...not fair...regardless its dumb.

HAS to be more to this. Just doesn't make sense. A team that is desperately needing skill position talent trades it's only skill position talent?

Something stinks.

The Browns took Richardson and Weedon in the first round of that draft. If they get the #1 pick next year they will probably take a QB. Now that is a bad draft!

To me this is like had the Lions traded Calvin 2 games into his 2nd year. They didnt even really get that great of deal unless the Colts flop this year. They traded up to get him then dumped him for a first that will likely at best be 15-20.

So the Browns are tanking their season by trading away the only productive player they have.

Is it Bridgewater or Clowney they are trying to secure with the #1 pick in the draft? Or are they just mad that the Lions have the only 0-16 record ever, and they are damned and determined not to let that stand?

I think the Jags play the Browns in week 11. That could be the worst game ever in the history of the NFL.

Bridgewater sweepstakes or simply just not a fit where that new guy wants to take his offense. A big bruising back carrying the ball 25 times a game is like a race horse with a broken leg....needs to be taken out back and shot. Id take a shady McCoy 100 times out of 100 in todays league. Like I said..the fact they got a 1st round pick for him is pretty damn good. He probably never deserved to be drafted that high and the big play ability we saw in college just hasn't been there.

Put it this way....how many of you would have taken a 2nd round pick for leshoure right now? I honestly see it as the same situation. Most offensive guys in the league will more than likely have the mindset that anyone can be in the backfield if you have a good line.....which is why RBs don't get drafted in rd 1 anymore.
