Because they have rutledge and tulo.
He's in A ball right now, so he's got a few years.
Makes no sense to trade him right now, he can always be moved.

But if the Rockies are serious about upgrading their rotation, a package centering around story and about 1-2 more high level prospects would be the best value to get for porcello tbh. i'd rather that then a 30+ closer or some light hitting corner of.
Of course, the Rockies would never give Story and another high level prospect for only Porcello.
