Tullochs replacement...what round?

Tullochs days as our starter should be numbered, would you guys be for/against drafting this guy? What round given that he's going to be coming into the league fresh off of an injury, but should be ready to go. I've watched a ton of UCLA games, and this guy is all over the place. I think this would be an ideal time to let Whitehead take Tullochs spot, just to see if we even need to go there in the draft.

Whitehead is a free agent. So is Travis Lewis. Tulloch is at least taking a pay cut. But based on two weeks, could be cut totally for 6 million in room.

Whitehead and Lewis could be brought back cheap though

I want us to take Shawn Oakman, to line him up opposite Ziggy Ansah, and to kick my feet up and watch the QB carnage.

This kid reminds me of Calais Campbell but better

Surprisingly, I don't remember him at all from college or the draft. Looked him up and saw he was 6'8" 310lbs and ran a 4.85 40yd dash. Good God.

I've got a soft spot for physical freaks like that. I really wanted us to draft Jared Veldheer when he came out. Then again, I also wanted no part of Aaron Donald because I thought he was too small at 6'1" and 285lbs. Can't win 'em all.

I feel ya, man. I loved Campbell coming out of college. Took him a bit to start gelling, but he's a damn good DE.

And don't feel bad about Donald. I'm not knocking the kid's talent because he's good, but he's on arguably the best DLine in the NFL. Go look at that starting DLine...they can't double everyone Donald is going to put up numbers.

I'd have to say 2nd or 3rd since the first round will prolly be another TE

A surprise UDFA kid from a small school: Darren Dungee - Rowan.

I say this with absolutely no prior knowledge, just did a search on small school ILB for the 2016 draft and he was listed near the bottom. However, he had this play on Facebook...and Mayhew loves his internet sensations. Once Mayhew sees how this kid defends the crossing pattern, he will put the kid on speed dial as his #1 call after Mr. Irrelevant is announced.

I hear you there, but I honestly thought he'd be a dud on his size alone. Most NFL DTs are a good 25lbs+ heavier and 4"+ taller than Donald. Hell, I've got 5" and 6lbs on him myself. LOL!
