I'm with you on that. I saw much more disruption in the middle of the line from him than Ngata.

If Ngata is more than $6Mm, and he likely will be, let him walk. I'd rather put $6.5Mm into bringing Fairley back than pay it to a 3-4 NT playing out of position in a 4-3 defense.

And to be clear, I am not in favor of bringing Fairley back. But I would rather him than Ngata.

Looks like he is betting on himself again. Hopefully he stays healthy and earns a big contract next year. No reason not to like this deal.
