Here is a link to what events will be planned throughout the day on Saturday(http://www.detnews.com/article/2011...s0201/U-M-rolls-out-slew-of-events-tied-to-fi rst-ever-night-football-game) .

One of the most interesting things in the article is that it appears to be a Maize-Out. Specifically the fact that the university will be giving out 100,000 Maize palm-palms.

I was lucky enough to score some tickets and a little bit of leave. I hope to see some of you all up there this Saturday. Go Blue!!

They've given those out before and no one ends up using them. It just looks kinda odd waving a little puff around. I personally think when they gave out maize shirts it was more effective.

Yeah, I've gotten pom poms and towels before. Nothing new there. I feel bad for the people who have to clean up 109,901 of them after the game.

Our GameDay event .... getting to the golf course parking lot around 11:45am.

Is that what time you're showing up? I was thinking the same thing but do you think they are going to strictly enforce not being able to line up at the entrances? From past personal experience, I don't think anything is going to stop people from lining up. I just don't want to show up at 12:05 and have some MASSIVE lineup to get in.

I think I'm going to do 11:45 as well and just see if people are lined up. From there I will figure out what to do.

Rumor is that the course is going to open earlier than Noon for people with the AAGO 'passes' but I'd be shocked if there wasn't a line no matter what.

Thankfully I'm not the planner, but along for the ride .... and I can't wait to have an OBERON tomorrow afternoon at Ashley's (or elsewhere ....)

Nice! I have Friday off so I'm stopping by Ashley's myself. After work though, probably not until 6pm or so.

Sound good, I will just show up at 11:45 to be safe. All I want to do is put the truck in park on the course...cause then YOU'RE IN! nothing matters anymore...

Dude, no joke ... we may very well be at Ashley's at about that time -- later afternoon/early evening

Vic...are you really gonna be flying that Spanish themed flag?...How far in off of State?

We are planning to be on the Golf Course ... weather permitting and that seems to be a possible issue.

Usually we're closer to the Main Street side, across from Pioneer -- flag should be flying and I may even be able to post on the board if I get a signal (which I've had trouble with before on the course)

I won't be able to make it to Ashley's today. I'm buying a new car and this is the only day the dealership is open past 6pm so I have to take advantage.

I might go later on tonight though to drink a few tasty brews and watch Saints vs Pack.

Word is that the golf course may be closed this weekend due to all of the rain. Between this or the "no lining up" rule, its gonna be pandemonium with a chance of clusterfuck. Glad I'll be walking/biking to my tailgates.
