he claims it happened in the Denver game....

Matthew Stafford originally fractured his right index finger in the first half of the Week 8 win over the Broncos.
This is not a new injury. Stafford was listed as "probable" on the injury report last week and wore a glove on both hands yesterday. Still, he declined to blame the injury for his inaccuracy against the Bears. Stafford said the wind was more of a factor than the finger. The Lions host the Panthers' No. 14 pass defense under Ford Field's dome next week. Nov 14 - 11:03 AM

easy way to see if it was the wind is to play a great game in the dome with no excuses. I didnt see cutler have any issues zinging it between our defenders. Jays arm is strong but its not stronger than staffords....wind is not the cause for throwing to flat 3 secs too late and getting a pick 6. poor decisions are and inaccurate throws.

Yeah he was a big 9-19 for 123 yards. Not what I call zinging it.

dude did you watch the game? lol the game was a joke. When cutler had to make plays he was hitting guys on deep in cuts 20 yds down the field with pin point acc (see the end of the first half). Stafford wasnt anywhere near receivers 4 yds down the field. it was piss poor in comparison.

So he's compensating the grip with the other three fingers? wow this is stupid ummmmm hey Lions we'd like to make the playoffs this year you need to put Hill out there until he gets the finger healed up, he's not accurate enough with this BS you're probably just going to end up with him getting it hurt even more, then what. And why the hell does it take all this time before we even find out he's freaking injured, gesssh this is crap.

You do realize Hill isn't very good. With his Max 15 yard throws.

Do you realize he got the job done last year during those last 4 wins?

stafford threw it over 15 yards once the entire game....we wouldnt be missing much.

And with the wind I doubt Hill gets it that far. And quit being a horses ass, you really want Hill starting for us? There is a reason he's a career backup.

No, i never said i wanted to bench stafford. I just dont want him to play like shit and was giving a reason why hill not being able to throw 15 yds doesnt matter when stafford chooses not to throw over 15 yds.

Then why bring it up? Its a bad game, geez Brady had a 4 INT game. And Rivers has like 39 interceptions.

Exactly, but during the Bears game, Stafford was constantly figitting with his glove, if hes not comfortable throwing the ball because of the finger, it is a liability, and Stafford is hurting the Lions chances of a W more than helping. I wouldnt mind seeing Hill start against Carolina, unless Staffords hand isnt bothering him at all. The Lions need Stafford to twist an ankle so he stands with his feet planted like he did against Denver, and gets rid of those happy feet he displayed in Chicago. I know he had pressure on him alot in the Bears game, but WTF? Stafford needs to calm the fuck down, period.

I remember seeing that play. He jammed(broke) it on a defenders helmet.
