Noah Brown is a sophomore wide receiver from NJ who was tearing up fall camp until suffering a Theisman type injury a couple days ago. He had pretty well earned the starting spot opposite Michael Thomas but he's now a medical redshirt. Great kid, bad break.

With Brown down and Corey Smith, Jalin Marshall and Dontre Wilson out due to suspension, the Buckeyes are missing half their wide receiving corps and four serious playmakers for the VT opener. The depth that remains is for sure talented but absolutely unproven.

If Bucks are to win the opener, the Buckeye D is going to have to carry the load. An upset is entirely possible.

A loss to Tech would hurt MSU in the end. Let's say OSU has one loss when they meet an undefeated MSU team in Columbus it would be a must win for msu. Losing to an undefeated OSU team on the road would give MSU a great case for the playoff but losing to a 1 loss OSU team would put them on the outside.

However, that's all nonsense because OSU is not losing to Tech. No chance in my opinion.
