This year that went through the end zone and ruled a touchback and the media blew it up about how any other time a player fumbles forward and ball goes out of bounds it is spotted where fumble happened, but when it goes out the end zone it is for some reason ruled a touchback...and media was all up in arms about how that rule needs to be changed because it unfairly benefits the defense while being completely incongruent with any other fumble situation.
And didn't we acknowledge at that time that the Lions would be screwed by that difference in the rule book?
Forgive me, my brain is fuzzy so I'm not recalling the previous game that got so much attention from this type of play.
